Terms of Use

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use Reseek. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Reseek. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4.1 How Credits Work

Reseek uses a credit-based system for AI-powered template customization:

• Credits are purchased through Stripe payment processing
• Each template customization consumes a specific number of credits
• Credit costs are displayed before customization begins
• Credits are deducted atomically when AI generation starts
• Failed generations result in automatic credit refunds

4.2 Credit Purchases

All credit purchases are:

• Non-refundable once purchased
• Non-transferable between accounts
• Valid indefinitely (no expiration)
• Subject to our pricing at the time of purchase

4.3 Refund Policy

Credits are automatically refunded if:

• AI generation fails due to technical errors
• Content validation fails
• System errors prevent customization completion

Credits are NOT refunded for:

• Successfully generated content you don't like
• User error in providing parameters
• Changes in your requirements after generation

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of:

• Input parameters and customization requests
• AI-generated content created for you
• Edits and modifications made in the Sandbox Editor
• Final exported templates and deliverables

5.2 License to Reseek

By using the Service, you grant Reseek a limited license to:

• Store and process your content
• Generate AI-powered customizations
• Export content to third-party services (when authorized)
• Display anonymized usage statistics

We do NOT use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

5.3 Reseek Platform

Reseek and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Reseek and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.1 Optional Exports

Connecting Notion or Google Docs is entirely optional. When you connect these services:

• You authorize Reseek to access your account via OAuth
• You can disconnect at any time from settings
• We only access what's necessary for export functionality
• Third-party terms of service apply to those platforms

7.2 Third-Party Services

We integrate with:

• Stripe for payment processing
• Anthropic for AI content generation
• Notion for optional template export
• Google for optional Google Docs export

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices or availability.

8.1 Content Accuracy

AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranties. You acknowledge that:

• AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete information
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content
• Reseek is not liable for errors in AI-generated content
• Content should be reviewed before use with students

8.2 Educational Use

Generated templates are intended as starting points for educators. You should:

• Review content for accuracy and appropriateness
• Customize content to fit your specific needs
• Ensure compliance with educational standards
• Use professional judgment in applying content

11.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Upon deletion:

• Your personal data will be permanently deleted
• All templates and customizations will be removed
• Unused credits will be forfeited (no refund)
• OAuth connections will be disconnected

11.2 By Reseek

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• Your account is inactive for extended periods
• Required by law or legal process
